Two students working on asignments

INSPIRE Training

INSPIRE is as much about providing you with up-to-date, highest-level evidence to inform teaching practices as it is about offering you opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills about evidence use. We have two opportunities you might like to participate in: a micro-credential and a video-based introductory training. See below for more about both.

Sign up for the INSPIRE micro-credential

Do you wonder what works in higher education? What does the best-available evidence tell us about effective teaching? Using the form below, sign up for the INSPIRE micro-credential. The INSPIRE micro-credential is a 6-week program that starts in Week 4 of Semester 2. Learn with other academics, add to your teaching practices, and answer BIG questions in higher education.

Making good decisions easy

INSPIRE, wants to help you make good decisions in higher education. We also want to make making these decisions easy. To help, we've created a couple of free, short video-based training that introduce you to the idea of evidence-based practice in higher education and the two toolkits we have.

Educator introduction training

The educator introduction training is for instructors who want to understand more about evidence-based practice in higher education. The training introduces the idea of evidence-based decision-making in higher education and how we might use evidence - particularly best-available evidence - to inform our decisions. To complete the training, watch the video below and then click on the link below the video to complete a short, 10-question test of knowledge. If you score 8 or more on the quiz, you'll receive a certificate of completion. You can watch the video and take the test as many times as you like.
